Traffic into and out of Tinker Lane came to a halt today when an intrepid Protector from Misson Springs camp clambered up onto the cab of an HGV making a delivery of aggregate to the construction site. Police were soon there in force, probably half of the Nottinghamshire force by the look of it and set about building a work platform at the front of the vehicle. From the work platform the Protector was engaged in a conversation (mostly one way) to encourage our ebullient Surfer to come down. The writer left site around 14.00 hrs, by then the conversation had reached an impasse and we will report on the outcome of the first surf at the gates of Tinker Lane. Well done that man!
